::"BrandNew Industries Commissioned to Design Branding Iron for Record Breaking Barry Bonds Baseball"

PRESS RELEASE(For Immediate Release)

SANTA BARBARA, CA (www.BrandNew.net) September 19, 2007 — Fashion designer Marc Ecko, who purchased Barry Bonds' home run record breaking baseball for $750,000, has decided to leave the fate of the ball to the public and baseball fans alike by allowing them to vote for one of three options through his website www.vote756.com.

A) Bestow It - Give the ball to Cooperstown (baseball's Hall of Fame.) The ball that broke Hank Aaron's career homerun record belongs in the Hall of Fame.
B) Brand It - Burn an asterisk into the ball with a branding iron, adding a permanent footnote to the record. Then send it to Cooperstown.
C) Banish It - Put the ball on a rocket ship and launch it into orbit, a moon shot for the ages. Out of sight, out of mind.

Ecko contacted BrandNew Industries this week to commission the branding iron that would be used to burn an asterisk into the Bonds' baseball in the event the public chooses to "Brand It". "We are very excited to have the opportunity to make our mark in baseball history," said Sean Clayton, owner of BrandNew Industries and a baseball fan himself.
