BrandNew Industries , the locally based custom branding-iron company, is introducing a new portable, propane-powered brander called the Porto-Pro™.

The copper hewn branding iron leaves a nice imprint on a variety of solid materials so that companies or artisans can sign and mark their products.

Woodworkers often use branding irons from BrandNew , according to company president and CEO Paul Burri. "This is something we have been thinking about for a long time. We finally have a design that is rugged, lightweight, easy to use and inexpensive," said Mr. Burri.

"This unit is ideal for field operations or where electrical power is limited or non-existent," he added.
